Raihan

Raihan or 'Fragrance of heaven" in Arabic was formally formed in October 1996. It was originally made up of five members with Nazrey Johani, Allahyarham Azhari Ahmad (header), Che Amran Idris, Abu Bakar Md Yatim, and Amran Ibrahim. Under the label Warner Music Malaysia, Raihan's inaugural album was produced by Farihin Abdul Fattah with the support of Nasser Abu Kassim and Tony Fernandez. The album titled "Puji-Pujian" (Praises) debuted in 1997. This album also saw Raihan cooperated with a local solo talent - ustaz Amaluddin Napiah in song track "Assolatuwassalam".

During the week following the release of the album "Demi Masa" (By Time) on September, 29 2001, our beloved header Azhari Ahmad answered the call and returned to Him. Now, only four remained with Raihan:

Be prepared to be criticized because it's harder than to criticize. Differences in opinion and discussion mature the intellect & open many roads to solution. We must understand others first before others can understand us."

Bakar Said ...
"It is all right to have dreams as long as it’s for the good and fulfill them with your ambitions and effort. Careful thinking before doing anything assures your own safety. There is a lesson in every creation and incident. Do not let life’s experiences pass by without learning from them. Love is beautiful, but beware, do not get hooked on love because, other than the love for Allah, it could bring dire consequences."
