Kamal Uddin was born on 28th June 1984. His family originate from Bangladesh, however among his family he was the first to be born in England. Kamal grew up in a small town called Hyde were he started school at Greenfield Primary and then studied at Hyde Technology School.
In summer 1996 Kamal had a career change and boarded an Islamic school in Bolton called Al Jamia-Al Islamiyya. There he studied a course to memorise the whole Qur'an. During Ramadan in November 2000, halfway through his course sadly his father; Haji Malkas Ali passed away.
By the grace of Allah, at the end of 2001 Kamal finished his course and became a qualified Hafiz. Immediately after, The Hyde Jamia Mosque offered him to lead the next Ramadan prayers. At the time Kamal was only 17 years old. Having been successful he was offered to teach children at the Islamic Centre based in the Mosque and also to lead and call people to prayer.
In September 2002 Kamal boarded into Jamia Al-Karam. This was an Islamic school in Retford were he studied Arabic grammar for a year. After which he returned back to Hyde Jamia Mosque at the beginning of 2004. Now Kamal has opened a Nasheed Class for children. Here young children can enjoy learning about Islam by singing nasheeds, to glorify their lord Allah, their prophet Muhammad and their religion Islam. Kamal has found his nasheed Class an achievement, he had the following to say: "The Nasheed Class became a big success for me. I am now using this as a means to convey the message of Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims. May Allah give me the strength to carry out this deen in the best manner."
